I am a firm believer in annual family photos. I know it's an investment, but in my photographically biased opinion - it's always worth it to have those documented memories of your family growing throughout the years. Every once in awhile, it's also a great idea to have an 'extended' family session & I was more than happy to do this for the Blair/Stadnik family last year at one of my favourite locations - The Rockwood Harris Mill Ruins.
The ruined mill basically looks like a castle dropped in the middle of a beautiful conservation area. Pretty much my dream come true. Oh - & they do small weddings there!!! Omg, I would pay to be that photographer. (Not really, but it's on my list of things that must happen soon.) The stone walls, multiple windows, doors & lovingly preserved area surrounding it, always gives way to magical images for any type of shoot.
On this extremely warm May evening, we took full advantage of this pretty location.

I love how the whole family was able to match in colour scheme, but still have some florals & other patterns incorporated. Apparently all it took was a 5 min phone call, and a couple wives with a sense of style! lol..
I adore this location & hope to get back here many times this year. Booking Spring & Summer now.
