If you follow along on my blog, which I hope you do -- you'll notice that I shoot at Scotsdale Farm QUITE a lot. Fact is, it's totally perfect in every season. Sometimes it's a wind tunnel, sometimes there are lots of people around, but always it's beautiful. Often, clients bring it up to me & of course I'm always willing to oblige.
It's also the perfect place to bring your puppy pals. There are a ton of pretty trails here, which many people aren't aware of, so there are always an influx of people there walking their fur babes. This is one of the reasons it was a great spot for Kellie & Mike's Maternity Session - because obviously they wanted their first two babies to be a part of the memories. I, of course, was only too happy to have George & Finnley involved.
We met in the afternoon on Halloween Day, and as October days go - it was pretty gloomy. Sometimes though, this type of weather sets the perfect mood. Not that this wasn't a celebration, because it was... but because it made the images feel even cozier. You'll see..

If I've said it once, I've said it a million times. Gimme all the big beautiful eyes to photograph.

I'm in love with all the muted fall tones of this session. It's definitely on my list of 'favourite shoots of all time' & it's no wonder -- these two were just so laid back & easy to get along with, that the beautiful frames just happened so naturally.
These two welcomed baby girl 'Brooke' soon after & I was honoured to capture her first photoshoot as well. Can't wait to share those adorable images on the blog soon!
Stay tuned...
