Taking a break from today's editing pile, to bring you this pretty family session from October at the Scarborough Bluffs. One of my favourite all time Toronto locations.
It can be quite busy there, so summer can be tricky with all the people wandering the beautiful picturesque beach beneath the cliffs, but sometimes early in the morning or into September, October and beyond into late fall & winter... you can get lucky.
The Wong family met me there mid October to sunny skies but cold winds. We had a late start, so we walked straight to the beach to catch the last of the light of golden hour. I took advantage of the sun bouncing off their heads & managed to get off so many sweet golden & glowy frames.

Luckily I noticed the pile of burrs on the bushes behind Charmaine prior to her getting them throughout her gorgeous hair. Eeeek!
Even though there wasn't a ton of fall colouring yet, I still love the tones that mid October brings.

I think this fashionable trio is basically wearing the perfect combination of muted colours for this session. Just a tiny bit of pattern goes a long way!

We wandered closer to the bluffs & Jackson stayed mesmerized by the waves crashing on the beach. I decided to take advantage of the quiet moment & this was my absolute favourite light of the session. The sun setting over the bluffs, is a seriously magical thing to see.

Again, the soft quiet moments pull at my heart strings. I know that my favourite frames are hardly ever the favourites of my clients, but simplicity will always be the prettiest to me. Heads up to those booking with me, lol. That's my type of photography!

The colour of Charmaine's hair through the yellow leaves along the beach, is literally perfect. Obviously I became a tad obsessed, as all photographers would!

A family session at the bluffs wouldn't be complete without a walk along the beach.

I'm super excited to be back in blogging mode & sharing more of these full sessions with y'all!
Until next time...
